Abstract

The invention discloses a voltage-adaptive UART-to-USB system and method. The system comprises a UART connector, a voltage determination module, a UART-to-USB module and a USB connector, all of whichare sequentially connected. The method comprises the steps that first, the working voltage of a UART on a server board card is detected; second, the working mode of the UART-to-USB system is determined according to the working voltage of the UART on the server board card; and finally conversion of a UART signal to a USB signal is performed. The system is simple in structure and can adapt to multiple different voltages, therefore, the same system can be connected with different server board cards, communicating connection between a personal computer and the server board card is more convenient,and the system is beneficial for improving user experience.
