Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for observing insect movement and heat distribution in the field of bionic design. The device comprises a thermostatic box, a thermostatic control device, ahigh-speed camera device, an infrared thermal imaging device, an insect holding device and an illuminating device. The thermostatic control device is located in the left side in the thermostatic boxand is connected to the thermostatic box. The high-speed camera device is located outside the thermostatic box and right above the insect holding device. The infrared thermal imaging device is locatedin the right side in the thermostatic box and is not connected to the thermostatic box. The insect holding device is located in the right side of the thermostatic control device and in the left middle zone in the thermostatic box. The illuminating device is located at the upper part of the thermostatic box. The device has the advantages of simple operation, fast experimental process and high insect selective observability, can keep the thermostatic case in the observation area under laboratory conditions, can study insect movement characteristics and heat distribution and has a wide application prospect.
