Abstract

The invention provides a compensating method for an irregular gap in spacecraft structure assembly. The compensating method comprises the following steps of: selecting flexible fiber cloth with a proper thickness according to the dimension of a gap between structures, soaking the fiber cloth into an adhesive or brushing the surface of the fiber cloth, adhering the fiber cloth with the adhesive tothe surface of a connecting surface, regulating a mounting structure to needed precision and fastening the mounting structure; and pressing the flexible fiber cloth with the adhesive into a gap shapethrough fastening force of two connecting structures, extruding out excessive adhesive, wiping off the extruded excessive adhesive, and completely compensating the gap between every two assembly structures by a compensating and adhering layer after the adhesive is cured. The compensating method provided by the invention adopts the flexible fiber cloth and the adhesive as a compensating layer, andthe compensating layer sufficiently utilizes softness of the fiber cloth and liquidity of the adhesive, so that complete filling of a complex gap of an irregular interface is realized; and moreover, relatively high strength and relatively high rigidity are achieved.
