Embodiments of the invention provide a method for system resource distribution and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: acquiring user behavior data on a mobile terminal; using the user behavior data to analyze enthusiasm degree of a user on each application program; based on the enthusiasm degree, distributing system resource for each application program. In the method, preference of a user on the application program is analyzed through using the user behavior data, so as to realize system resource individual distribution.
