The control method comprises the following steps that: establishing communication connection with at least one piece of data source equipment; setting corresponding priorities for different pieces of data source equipment; and according to a projection control instruction from the data source equipment with a highest priority, presenting a data signal from the corresponding data source equipment on a projection picture. By use of the method, different priorities are set for the data source equipment connected to the projector, ordered control for multiple pieces of data source equipment is realized according to the priority, and no conflicts are generated. By use of the method, through the setting, a user can conveniently connect multiple pieces of data source equipment to the same projector according to a practical situation, and the projector is controlled to be switched to display corresponding contents.
