Abstract

The invention discloses a method for producing composite liquid mulching films from straw. The method includes processing the crop straw to obtain cellulose solution, adding monochloro acetic acid, potassium persulfate and butyl acrylate into the cellulose solution and carrying out etherification and cross-linking reaction on celluloses at the temperature of 70 DEG C under stirring conditions to obtain cellulose cross-linked liquor; adding natural polymer chitosan-gelatin blend solution with synergistic effects and capability of improving the plasticity and the flexibility into the cellulose cross-linked liquor. The monochloro acetic acid is used as an etherifying agent, the potassium persulfate is used as an initiator, and the butyl acrylate is used as a cross-linking agent. The method has the advantages that the chitosan-gelatin blend solution is bipolar poly-electrolyte formed by means of coordination cross-linking reaction and is excellent in film-forming property and film-forming strength; certain quantities of trace fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides are added into components to obtain the composite liquid mulching films made from the straw, the composite liquid mulching films not only can be used for agricultural water-saving production, but also can be used for dune fixation afforestation and saline and alkaline land transformation and improvement and are low in cost, and waste can be turned into wealth.
