Problems solved by technology

Natural overwintering: Ants like to overwinter in dry trees in the sunny and leeward areas or in trees with thicker cork; sometimes the vitality of wasps is very fragile, and it will affect the environment when food is extremely scarce and the surrounding environment changes. Their overwintering quality causes the death of ants, greatly reducing the survival rate of ants overwintering; artificial overwintering: artificial overwintering environment temperature, humidity too high or too low may cause artificial overwintering failure, thereby reducing the survival rate of surviving the winter

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of cultivation and particularly discloses an overwintering method for hornets. The method comprises the following detailed steps: (1) swarm collection: hornets are collected from an original hive of the hornets and put into an overwintering cage which is shielded from light by a black cloth and is put in an empty room which is dry, ventilated and free of disturbance, and a thermometer and a hygrometer are placed in the empty room; (2) breeding and management in an early overwintering stage: the temperature in the empty room is controlled, and hornet feed and glucose water are put into the overwintering cage quantitatively; (3) an overwintering stage: feeding is stopped, the hornets start hibernation in a cluster, and the cluster status of the hornets is checked regularly; and (4) a wake-up stage after overwintering: after the air temperature rises back, hornet feed and glucose water are added to each overwintering cage until the hornets buzz the wings and move, and then the hornets can be released from the overwintering cage. The method can effectively improve the overwintering survival rate of the hornets, ensure breeding and development of hornet populations, and increase the incomes of hornet cultivation.

Description

[0001] 【Technical field】 [0002] The invention belongs to the technical field of breeding, and in particular relates to a method for overwintering ants. [0003] 【Background technique】 [0004] Ants are also called wasps, and they are widely distributed in my country. Ants are sweet and pungent in taste, warm in nature, and are mainly used to treat rheumatism and bone pain; the hives can be used as Chinese medicinal materials, which have the effects of analgesia, insect repellent, swelling and detoxification, and are mainly used to treat convulsions, wind arthralgia, toothache and cancer; ant bee wine can dispel rheumatism , the role of treating acute and chronic rheumatic pain, rheumatoid arthritis; ant bee venom can treat arthritis, has high medicinal value, and is of great significance to the development and production of new medical products. There are more than 20 kinds of wasp venoms for sale in the international market, which are expensive. [0005] The life of an ant...
