Embodiment Construction

[0068] In order to make the purpose, technical means and advantages of this application clearer, the following further describes this application in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0069] In the dual connectivity architecture, when the LGW is collocated on the SeNB, for the LIPA bearer on the SeNB, if the LIPA bearer deactivation principle in the existing handover process is followed, the source base station will release it before the handover. If the LIPA bearer is carried, the MeNB will send a SeNB modification request message to the SeNB. The message contains the information of the LIPA bearer that needs to be released; if there is only a LIPA bearer on the SeNB, the MeNB will send a UE context release message to the SeNB. In addition to the handover process, in the LIPA bearer release and S1 release scenarios initiated by the MME, the MeNB will also send an SeNB modification request message or a UE context release message to the SeNB after receiving the m...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and equipment supporting SIPTO or LIPA load release under dual connection architecture. The method comprises the following steps. A MeNB sends a setup message to an SeNB wherein the message, carrying the indication information that triggers the SIPTO to activate the load on a local network or the LIPA, is used to indicate that the SeNB notifies the collocated LGW to release the PDN connection of SIPTO on the local network or the LIPA. The SeNB receives the setup message, deletes the wireless and control plane resources of the SIPTO on the load of the local network or the LIPA, and sends an internal signaling to the collocated LGW when the indication information is confirmed to be carried in the received setup message to indicate that the collocated LGW releases the PDN connection of the SIPTO on the local network or the LIPA. The SeNB is a SeNB that supports the LGW function of the SIPTO for local network operation or supports the LGW function for the LIPA operation. Through the method and equipment supporting SIPTO or LIPA load release under dual connection architecture provided in the invention, it is possible to support the load release of SIPTO or LIPA under the dual connection architecture so as to avoid the incorrect operation for accessing a network, ensure timely and proper release of SIPTO or LIPA load and avoid erroneous release of PDN of SIPTO or LIPA.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to wireless communication technology, in particular to a method and equipment supporting SIPTO or LIPA bearer release under a dual-connection architecture. Background technique [0002] Modern mobile communications increasingly tend to provide users with high-speed multimedia services, such as figure 1 Shown is a system architecture diagram of System Architecture Evolution (SAE). among them: [0003] User equipment (UE) 101 is a terminal device for receiving data. The Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) 102 is a radio access network, which includes a macro base station (eNodeB / NodeB) that provides an interface for the UE to access the radio network. The mobility management entity (MME) 103 is responsible for managing the UE's mobility context, session context, and security information. The Serving Gateway (SGW) 104 mainly provides user plane functions, and the MME 103 and the SGW 104 may be in the same...
