Abstract

The invention provides a two-phase stepping motor. The two-phase stepping motor comprises a shell, permanent magnets, a rotor core, stator poles, an A-phase armature winding, a B-phase armature winding and a shaft; two parallel stator poles form a pair of stator poles; totally eight pairs of uniformly distributed stator poles are arranged; the permanent magnet is clamped at one end of a pair of stator poles near outside of the circumference; the eight permanent magnets are magnetized along the circumferential tangential direction; furthermore, the magnetizing directions of the eight permanent magnets are same; the rotor core has 14 uniformly distributed convex poles; the polar distance of the two stator poles on the same pair of stator poles is equal to the polar distance of rotor poles; a centralized armature coil is wound on each stator pole; and the armature coils of two poles on the same pair of stator poles are opposite in winding direction and same in phase. Because a structure that the permanent magnet is clamped at one end of each pair of stator poles near outside of the circumference is adopted, the two-phase stepping motor provided by the invention has the advantages of being short in magnetic linkage and low in loss; furthermore, the rectangular permanent magnet is embedded in a stator core; therefore, heat dissipation can be conveniently carried out; a rotor is simple in structure; and thus, the rotor is suitable for high-speed rotation.
