Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent substation secondary system reliability evaluation method based on failure physics, comprising the following steps: analyzing the failure modes and potential failure mechanisms of a relay, an optical coupler, an optical fiber and a CPU chip; building failure physics models of various failure mechanisms based on the relationship between time-stress and the inherent parameters of the devices, and getting failure life functions of the devices in various failure modes; building distribution models of failure time under various failure mechanisms, and constructing a probability density function describing failure time; calculating the instantaneous failure rate of a failure mechanism of the devices according to the probability density function and a cumulative failure distribution function of the failure mechanism of the devices; and building an intelligent substation secondary system reliability model according to failure rate functions of the devices to evaluate the reliability of a secondary system of an intelligent substation. The evaluation result provides reference for maintenance of the secondary equipment of the intelligent substation, which is conductive to safe and stable operation of the intelligent substation.
