Using the simulation software MATLAB / Simulink to build a 3-terminal DC transmission system, in which VSC3 is connected to the wind farm, the power fluctuations are relatively frequent, and digital simulation research is carried out to compare the dynamic response of the VSC detailed model and the average model. The simulation parameters are listed in Table 1 and Table 2. The response process of the system under the following working conditions is discussed, namely: (1) In normal working state, the active power of the VSC3 converter station changes abruptly; (2) A single-phase ground fault occurs in VSC1; (3) The DC fault occurs in the system.
