Abstract

The present invention discloses a multi-path coding system and method based on H.265. The system comprises a main encoder module and slave encoder modules. The main encoder module is connected with a plurality of slave encoder modules and configured to share encoding information to the slave encoder modules. The slave encoder modules are configured to accelerate the encoding process through adoption of the sharing information. The main encoder module and the slave encoder modules are configured to perform compression encoding of the same input video data and output code streams with different qualities through adoption of different code rate control parameters. The multi-path coding system and method based on the H.265 reuse the optimized encoding mode of the main encoder to accelerate the encoding process of the slave encoders so as to realize rapid multi-path video encoding on the premise that the encoding quality is not reduced; and moreover, the multi-path coding system and method based on the H.265 perform multi-path encoding of high-definition video with 1920*1080 resolution and run at the 28-core Inter(R)Xeon(R)CPU E5-2697v3@2.6GHz work station so as to save 44.68% encoding time compared to the multiple encoding in the condition of the same encoding parameter configuration condition while the performance is not reduced.
