The method comprises the steps of receiving a panoramic photographing starting instruction; obtaining a first image sequence and a second image sequence which are continuously photographed by the first camera and the second camera when the mobile terminal rotates around a rotation shaft; splicing the first image sequence, thereby obtaining a first splicing image, and splicing the second image sequence, thereby obtaining a second splicing image; panoramically splicing the first splicing image and the second splicing image, thereby generating a panoramic image, wherein the rotation shaft is vertical to the connection line of the first camera and the second camera, and both the first image sequence and the second image sequence are composed of multiple images.
