The method comprises the following steps: obtaining information to be displayed, wherein the information carrying attributes of a display time period; after a live broadcast video starts to be played, determining whether current time already enters the display time period; if so, displaying an interaction assembly at a preset position in a live broadcast video interface, wherein the interaction assembly is used for displaying the information and providing operation options; and according to operation of a user in the interaction assembly, performing processing corresponding to the operation on the information. According to the invention, some other operation can also be directly and efficiently completed without interrupting a watching process, for instance, if the displayed information is goods, the user can directly check the goods in the interaction assembly and carry out such operation as purchasing and the like, a new function of purchasing while watching is realized, great convenient is brought to the user, the efficiency of the user watching the live broadcast video is improved, and user experience is also improved.
