Benefits of technology

This patented technology helps reduce overall the problems associated with managing networks' capacity due to factors like uneven distribution or interference between neighboring cells caused by reconfiguration changes during operation. By grouping together multiple sensors (relay) at specific locations within an area), it can improve its overall effectiveness without adding extra hardware devices. Overall, this innovation simplifies management tasks and enhances communication quality.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution described in this patents relates to improving the efficiency and reliability of wireless sensors networks due to their long lifespan. Two layers of wireless mesh networks have emerged over time: one layer consists primarily of batteryless devices called primary or base stations while another layer contains smaller ones like clusters head(small range). These secondary units provide essential services during normal operation but may be expensive if replaced frequently. To address these issues, there was developed a new approach called dual-layer architecture where multiple sensor nodes share some common resources without being connected together through relay nodes instead of just having one single relay node.

Embodiment Construction

[0041] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0042] The present invention proposes a relay node robust coverage method for a two-layer structure wireless sensor network. The main idea is: on the basis of considering the number of relay nodes deployed, network load The sensor nodes to be covered are divided into independent different groups for the first 1-coverage; then, for each group, after adjusting the threshold of the algorithm, the 1-coverage algorithm is used here for coverage; to ensure that the wireless sensor network has a relatively large number of relay nodes. , load balancing, robustness and other network performance requirements.

[0043] The method of the present invention includes two steps of the first 1-covering and the second 1-covering.

[0044] Step (1) 1-coverage for the first time, including the stage of constructing the position of relay node candidates, the stag...

Abstract

The invention relates to a relay node robustness covering method for a double-layer structure wireless sensor network. The method is a relay node 2-cover deployment algorithm based on local search, the global deployment problem is degraded to a local deployment problem, the robustness is guaranteed, and the optimal deployment is realized. The method specifically includes two steps: first 1-cover and secondary 1-cover, wherein the first 1-cover includes: three steps of relay node candidate deployment position construction, sensor node grouping, and relay node local deployment, sensors are grouped via a novel grouping method, the complexity of the algorithm is reduced, and the optimality of the deployment is guaranteed; and the secondary 1-cover includes: the threshold is adjusted, sensor nodes covered only by one relay node are selected from each group, 1-cover of the sensor nodes is performed by employing the 1-cover method, the robustness is guaranteed, the deployment quantity of the relay nodes is reduced, and the problem solving time is shortened.
