Abstract

The invention discloses a network fault automatic detecting system based on SDN; the system comprises an SDN controller and SDN switches; multiple SDN switches are arranged; and the SDN controller is in control connection with the SDN switches; and the detecting method comprises the following steps: step 1, connecting the network switches by the SDN controller; step 2, obtaining and storing a network initial topology by the controller; step 3, regularly sending detection messages packet-out by the controller; step 4, sending back packet-in by the switches and forwarding; step 5, regularly calculating the new network topologies by the controller; step 6, comparing the new initial topologies by the controller; step 7, judging according to a comparison result in the step 6; and step 8, marking a fault point and alarming. The system and the method disclosed by the invention have the following beneficial effects: 1, the network fault is automatically found in real time; 2, the fault point is found accurately; 3, the system and the method help a network administrator to position a problem quickly and accurately; and 4, the user experience is good and the user satisfaction is greatly improved.
