Abstract

The present invention relates to a table reconstruction apparatus and method. The apparatus comprises: a column attribute determination unit, configured to determine an attribute of each column in a table; a description object determination unit, configured to link the determined attribute of each column to a semantic knowledge library so as to determine a description object in the table; a description object related attribute determination unit, configured to determine, in the semantic knowledge library, an attribute set of each description object and calculate a first similarity degree of the attribute of each column in the table and each attribute in the attribute set so as to determine an attribute related to the description object in the table; and a table reconstruction unit, configured to perform reconstruction on the table by using the description object and the attribute related to the description object.
