Abstract

The live washing method comprises the steps that a, a washing device is arranged above the insulator string (10) by being supported by a support (2); b, the resistivity of water is measured, the wind direction and wind force of a strain tower are judged, and the water outlet pressure is adjusted according to the wind direction and wind force; c, the support (2) is pulled to drive the washing device to move while washing is conducted, the part, on the downwind side, of the insulator string (10) is firstly washed, and the part, on the windward side, of the insulator string (10) is washed then; and d, whether the phenomena such as dirty water dripping and partial arcing happen to washed insulators or not is judged, if yes, the corresponding insulators are washed again, and if not, washing is finished. According to the live washing method, the effect that filth on the surfaces of the insulators of a double insulator string or a fourfold insulator string is washed away under the condition that normal live operation of an electric transmission line with the voltage being 500 kV or above is conducted is achieved.
