Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for software greening based on a Windows platform, relating to the field of software processing. The system comprises a monitoring module, an extraction module and a reconstruction module. The method comprises the following steps of S1 preparing for installation of software which needs greening; S2 obtaining a snapshot 1, namely an operating system snapshot before installation; S3 installing the software, monitoring file operations in a software installation process and recording data; S4 obtaining a snapshot 2, namely an operating system snapshot after complete installation of the software; S5 obtaining files needed by the software in the installation process and the logical relationship of the files according to the snapshot 1, the snapshot 2 and the record data obtained in the step S3; S6 reorganizing the needed files to obtain a software package after greening; and S7 decompressing the software package after greening and then executing operation of the software after greening. The system and the method solve the problems of high labor cost, complicated software greening operations and reduction of the functions of the software after greening existing in the enterprise software greening process.
