The method comprises the following steps that a current terminal searches whether there is household equipment which is not bound with the terminal in a searching scope of the current terminal; if there is target household equipment which is not bound with the terminal in the searching scope of the current terminal, whether a distance between the target household equipment and the current terminal is less than a preset distance is determined; if the distance between the target household equipment and the current terminal is not less than the preset distance, a first information used for prompting to use a wireless network to bind the target household equipment is generated; if the distance between the target household equipment and the current terminal is less than the preset distance, a second information used for prompting to use a near field communication NFC technology to bind the target household equipment is generated.
