Through treating the historical traffic data for the upstream road sections in the congested road, the historical traffic data are discrete, the congestion frequency analysis is carried out on the discrete data according to the association rule mining algorithm, the congestion source of the congested road is analyzed automatically, and the problem of searching for the traffic source by only relying on artificial experience can be solved.
