Embodiment 1

[0022] The lambs were breastfed with their mother within 1 week after birth, and the lambs were supplemented with starters at the age of 15 days. Continue to supplement the starter; when the lamb's starter intake reaches 200g for 3 consecutive days, the milk replacer is cut off and the starter is completely fed.

Embodiment 2

[0024] The lambs were breastfed with their mother within 1 week after birth, and the lambs were supplemented with starters at the age of 15 days. Continue to supplement the starter; when the lamb's starter intake reaches 300g for 3 consecutive days, the milk replacer is cut off and the starter is completely fed.

Embodiment 3

[0026] The lambs were breastfed with their mother within 1 week after birth, and the lambs were supplemented with starters at the age of 15 days. Continue to supplement the starter; when the lamb's starter intake reaches 400g for 3 consecutive days, the milk replacer is cut off and the starter is completely fed.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of animal husbandry and provides a breeding method carrying out weaning according to the starter feed intake of lambs. The method comprises the following steps: enabling the lambs to suckle with ewes in a postnatal week, starting to additionally feed starter feed at the 7-15 age-in-day of the lambs, and enabling the lambs to freely feed the starter feed; starting to stop feeding breast milk at the 10-20 age-in-day of the lambs, isolating the lambs from the ewes, feeding the lambs with a milk replacer, and meanwhile, continuing to additionally feed the starter feed; and cutting off the milk replacer when the starter feed intake of the lambs reaches 200-500g in 2-5 days continuously, and completely feeding the starter feed. According to the method provided by the invention, the first stomach development of the lambs can be effectively promoted, and the production performance of the lambs can be effectively promoted; and meanwhile, weaning stress can be reduced, a theoretical basis is provided for completing an early weaning technology, and a complete early-weaned lamb breeding scheme is provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of animal husbandry, and in particular relates to a method for raising sheep. Background technique [0002] The growth and development of the lamb stage is related to its future production performance and the improvement of breeding benefits. In recent years, the early weaning of lambs has attracted the attention of the majority of mutton sheep farmers, and the use of milk substitutes to feed early weaned lambs has gradually been accepted by the majority of farmers. Weaning time, nutritional level of milk substitutes and starters, and weaning time of milk substitutes are three important components of early weaning techniques. At present, domestic and foreign studies on early weaning of lambs mainly focus on the former two. There is no research on the best time to wean milk replacer, and the best time to wean milk replacer has an important impact on lamb growth, digestive tract development and feeding cost. In addit...
