Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile phone photographing behavior based event positioning method. The method comprises the steps of: photographing a plurality of photos in different directions by utilizing mobile phone photographing software in the same place to form a photo group, and recording situational information during photographing, wherein the situational information comprises a photographing position and a camera alignment direction during mobile phone photographing; estimating an event occurrence region and dividing the event occurrence region into grids; based on the situational information of the photos, establishing a trapezoidal region and calculating positioning weights of the grids covered by the trapezoid; and calculating positioning weights of the grids covered by all the photos in the photo group to obtain an accumulated positioning weight of each grid, then determining an event positioning grid set according to a set threshold value, and determining geographical coordinates for event positioning. According to the method, a photographer is not required to additionally open an application program or execute a specific operation, so that the burden of a witness is not additionally increased; and the positioning of an event can improve the credibility of the photos and provide information for polices, medias and publics to look for the scene of the event at the same time.
