Abstract

The invention discloses a multiple-input multiple-output asymmetric pruned optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing modulation (MIMO ACO-OFDM) iterative receiving method in a wireless optical communication system. Based on the traditional MIMO ACO-OFDM receiving algorithm, using the linear approximation model of clipping operation at the transmitter and the statistical characteristics of clipping noise, the minimum mean square error (MMSE) detection is performed on the received signal, and clipping is eliminated in an iterative manner noise. The improved receiving method provided by the invention can effectively reduce the performance loss caused by the clipping noise to the system, and can significantly improve the bit error rate performance compared with the traditional MIMO ACO-OFDM receiver. At the same time, the present invention has low computational complexity for each iteration and requires few iterations, thus being easy to implement in engineering.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of wireless optical communication, in particular to a MIMO ACO-OFDM iterative receiving method. Background technique [0002] Wireless optical communication is a new type of communication that does not need to use wired channels as the transmission medium. It combines the advantages of optical fiber communication and microwave communication. It not only has the advantages of high-speed transmission and large communication capacity, but also does not need to lay optical fibers. A lot of manpower and material resources have been invested in the field of wireless optical communication, and phased results have been achieved. [0003] Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are two core transmission technologies in modern radio frequency communication systems. MIMO technology configures multiple antennas on the transmitter and receiver, and uses the uncorrelation between...
