The detecting system comprises a fixing base, a connector, a loader and a fixer which are successively installed in the same horizontal plane; the loader is provided with a displacement tester and a force tester; the outer ends of the fixing base and the fixer are respectively connected with a reaction wall and a grounding device; the inner end of the fixing base and the connector are respectively provided with connecting ends connected with the damper; the different detection working conditions are controlled and loaded by the loader; the displacement tester and the force tester are used for collecting the measuring data in real time, and directly judging the performance of the damper in the different working conditions after analyzing. Compared with the prior art, the provided technical scheme is capable of simulating the working state of the damper in the transformer substation better, accurately measuring the situation of each performance index of the damper. The damper performance result detected in the state has reference significance for the application in the transformer substation.
