Abstract

The backlight module comprises a light conducting plate, and a light source which is arranged at the light incoming side of the light conducting plate; the light source comprises a plurality of lighting points which are linearly arranged at intervals; reflecting parts are arranged at intervals in the reflecting side of the light source, away from the light conducting plate, wherein the reflecting parts directly face the part between adjacent lighting points; the scattered light irradiated into the intervals can be reflected into the light conducting plate through the reflecting parts. According to the backlight module, the brightness in a light source area is uniform, so that the high brightness point in a liquid crystal display can be completely reduced and even removed.
