Abstract

The invention discloses an ultrasonic cleaning apparatus and a method of cleaning an MBR (Membrane Bio-Reactor) ultrafiltration membrane by using the same. The ultrasonic cleaning apparatus comprises a control module and a cleaning module; the cleaning module comprises a reaction pool and at least one ultrasonic vibration plate on the inner wall of the reaction pool; the control module comprises a computer, a controller and an ultrasonic wave generator which are in successive connection; and the ultrasonic wave generator is connected with at least one ultrasonic vibration plate. By utilizing the mechanical vibration and microturbulence phenomenon generated by ultrasonic wave in water, pollution substances are facilitated to be disengaged from the membrane surface; and the ultrasonic cleaning effect is intermittently applied to an anaerobic MBR on line, the pollution development speed of the ultrafilter membrane of the anaerobic MBR is slow. The cleaning method is simple to operate, low in power consumption, and free of mechanical loss on the membrane, and helps to prolong the service life of the membrane.
