Abstract

The invention provides a design method for optimizing the natural smoke exhausting effect of a vertical shaft in a tunnel fire. In current tunnels where vertical shafts are arranged above ceilings, the connecting angles between the vertical shafts and the ceilings of the tunnels are mostly right angles. According to the design method, the parts (in the upstream direction of a tunnel and the downstream direction of the tunnel), connected with a ceiling of the tunnel, of the lower portion of the vertical shaft are each additionally provided with a triangular prism space, the connecting angle between the vertical shaft and the ceiling of the tunnel is arranged to be an acute angle (ranging from 20 degrees to 70 degrees), and therefore the natural smoke exhausting effect of the vertical shaft can be greatly improved after the fire occurs in the tunnel. The design method is simple in operation, low in economic investment, and can effectively overcome the adverse effects brought to the natural smoke exhausting process of the vertical shaft by the boundary-layer separation phenomenon formed in the vertical shaft by smoke. The design method can optimize natural smoke exhausting after the tunnel fire and daily gas exchange (automobile tail gas and waste heat are exhausted so as to improve the air quality inside the tunnel) between the inner portion of the tunnel and the outside environment, and has broad application prospects and important practical significance.
