Under the smart grid and wind power generation, the operating cost of battery energy storage using dynamic electricity price is divided into cost expenditure and electricity expense, and they are modeled respectively. The electricity expense is formulated as a constrained optimization problem. In order to solve the optimization problem, the optimization problem is transformed into an approximate multi-step optimization problem. And a polynomial time algorithm is provided for the deformed multi-step optimization problem. Finally, by calculating the operating cost of using battery energy storage in the data center and converting it into a normalized electricity price, the economics of using new energy and using battery energy storage in the data center are measured.
