[0023] figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of the medical monitoring system 1 . The medical monitoring system 1 includes: a plurality of biological information display devices 3 (bedside monitors 3a, 3b, 3c, ..., 3j), which are connected to each other through a wired or wireless network 2; a central monitor 4, which is also connected to the network 2 ; and a portable terminal 5 capable of wireless communication with the monitor.

[0024] figure 1 A floor of a certain hospital is shown (eg, a surgical ward). Bedside monitors 3a, 3b, 3c, . . . , 3j are placed in wards 201, 202, 203, .

[0025] The bedside monitors 3a, 3b, 3c, . . . , 3j can be connected to sensors for acquiring biological information of parameters such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation and the like. Sensors are attached to the patients 6a, 6b, 6c, . . . , 6j in order to measure biological information as needed.

[0026] The bedside monitors 3a, 3b, 3c, . . . , 3j m...

[0067] Next, a second embodiment of the subject matter of the present disclosure will be described. A description will be given of a second embodiment in which, in addition to alarm information, biological information determined to be abnormal (biological information signal exceeding a threshold value) is also wirelessly transmitted from the bedside monitor that checked for abnormality. The configuration of the medical monitoring system and the configuration of the first embodiment ( figure 1 and figure 2 ) are the same and will use the same reference notation.

[0068] When the portable terminal 5 receives alarm information wirelessly transmitted from the bedside monitor and biological information exceeding a threshold (hereinafter, referred to as abnormal biological information), it includes information indicating that an abnormality has occurred in the patient's biological information and information such as patient ID, Alarm information of information of ward number, pa...

Abstract

A medical monitoring system includes: a plurality of biological information displaying devices connected to a network; and a portable terminal which can wirelessly communicate with the biological information displaying devices. The plurality of biological information displaying devices includes a first device and a second device. When a value of biological information is larger or smaller than a preset threshold, the first device transmits alarm information. In case where the first device transmits the alarm information, a receiving unit of the portable terminal receives the alarm information, and a transmitting unit of the portable terminal wirelessly transmits the received alarm information to the second device, and the second device receives the biological information through the network and the biological information is displayed on the second device.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This patent application is based on and claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2013-026840 filed on February 14, 2013, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. Background technique [0003] The subject matter of the present disclosure relates to a medical monitoring system for displaying patient biological information on a display screen. [0004] To monitor the condition of patients in medical institutions, biometric information monitors placed at the bedside (bedside monitors) are used. When the patient's biological information acquired from the bedside monitor deviates from a pre-set range, the bedside monitor generates an audible alarm to notify the situation. Patients who cause an audible alarm must be treated quickly and correctly. However, since the determination of whether the biological information deviates from the range is performed in an automatic manner, there are of...
