Abstract

The invention discloses an experimental facility for simulating a wind turbine. The experimental facility comprises a digital simulator, a computer, a PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) data acquisition card, a motor driver, an electric motor, a coupler 1, a rotating speed and torque sensor, a coupler 2, an electric generator, a current sensor and a voltage sensor; a wind turbine mathematical model in the digital simulator is adopted to calculate the torque of the wind turbine according to the input wind speed curve, the pitch angle, the rotating speed fed back by the electric generator, the torque of the wind turbine and the torque fed back by the electric generator are calculated by a PID (Proportion Integration Differentiation) controller in the digital simulator to obtain a motor torque command; the digital simulator carries out sampling on the rotating speed and torque sensor by the PCI data acquisition card in each sampling period to obtain the feedback rotating speed and the feedback torque of the electric generator, and besides, the motor torque command is input to the motor driver to regulate the output torque of the motor to drive the electric generator to rotate. The experimental facility can simulate the running characteristic of the wind turbine in a practical working condition in a laboratory without wind field environment or the wind turbine.
