Abstract

The invention discloses a registration method for a dynamic virtual local area network. The method is characterized by comprising the steps that when an initiator side sends joining messages of the VLAN with corresponding dynamic VLAN registration mapping flag values through an enabled dynamic VLAN registration port, the mapping flag values of the VLAN are carried so that a receiving side can register the VLAN on the port with the corresponding mapping flag values, and the joining messages of the VLAN are sent to the initiator side through the port receiving the jointing messages. Based on the same inventive concept, the invention further provides equipment. Dynamic VLAN registration can be achieved flexibly.
