Abstract

The invention relates to a hopper unchoking device. The hopper unchoking device comprises a photoelectric sensor, a control circuit and a blockage removal unit. The photoelectric sensor comprises at least one group of through beam photoelectric sensors including an optical transmitting sensor and an optical receiving sensor. The control circuit is used for judging whether a hopper is blocked or not according to optical signals received from the optical transmitting sensor by the optical receiving sensor so as to determine outputting control signals for starting or stopping the blockage removal unit. The blockage removal unit comprises a motor, at least one transmission chain, at least one pair of sprockets, at least one operation chain and a plurality of scrape plates, wherein the at least one pair of sprockets are mounted at the top and the bottom of the inner side wall of the hopper, the at least one operation chain surrounds the inside and the outside of the hopper and is mounted on the at least one pair of sprockets, the plurality of scrape plates are mounted on the at least one operation chain, an acute angle larger than 0 degree is formed between each scrape plate and the operation chain along the moving direction, and the operation chain in an operating state rotates in the hopper from top to bottom. The hopper unchoking device is capable of automatically detecting and removing blockage of the hopper without human intervention.
