Abstract

The present invention relates to a one-piece workpiece with a tube portion and a method of manufacturing the same. The tube ( 4 ) is arranged, for example annularly, in a region extending around the axis (A) of the workpiece ( 2 ), wherein the tube ( 4 ) is formed by shaping. The workpiece ( 2 ) also has a form-fitting connection ( 6 ) by means of which the tube ( 4 ) is joined, viewed in section through said shaft (A). The form-fit connection ( 6 ) enables particularly easy production of the workpiece ( 2 ) compared to hitherto known production methods. In particular, no welding or screw fastening is required to join the pipe sections ( 4 ).
