Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a two-layer loop detection method, a two-layer loop detection device and a communication system. The two-layer loop detection method includes the following steps that: a first message is transmitted through a port, wherein the first message includes a local MAC address; when a second message is received through the port, whether the source MAC address of the second message is the local MAC address is judged; and if the source MAC address of the second message is the local MAC address, a two-layer loop under the port is selectively processed according to a preset processing strategy. According to the two-layer loop detection method, the two-layer loop detection device and the communication system provided by the embodiment of the invention, the first message is transmitted through the port, and whether the two-layer loop exists or not is judged fast, and therefore, loop problems caused by user configuration errors or wrong connection in networking under single-rule deployment can be detected.
