Abstract

The invention provides a method and a node for processing a signal in an optical burst-switched network. The method comprises: determining whether a first path optical burst (OB) signal on a work path is normal by a receiving node, when determining a second part OB signal in the first path OB signal is abnormal, obtaining a first part OB signal from the first path OB signal except the second part OB signal, and obtaining the second OB signal from a second path OB signal on a protection path by the receiving node, wherein the contents of the first path OB signal and the second path OB signal are the same; synchronizing the second part OB signal obtained from the second path OB signal and the first part OB signal by the receiving node; and combining the second part OB signal obtained from the second path OB signal and the first part OB signal by the receiving node to obtain a complete OB signal. An embodiment of the invention can achieve protection switching of the OB signal in an optical layer, and improve the transmission efficiency of the OB signal.
