An embodiment of the invention provides a cloud brainstorming service implemented on at least one cloud servers. The cloud brainstorming service comprises a message service component, a brainstorming logic component and a cluster component, the message service component is configured to receive multiple ideas from one or multiple users of equipment through a network, the users represent members of a brainstorming meeting, the brainstorming logic component is configured to process the multiple ideas and store multiple processed ideas in an in-memory database system, the cluster component is configured to retrieve the multiple processed ideas from the in-memory database system and arrange the multiple processed ideas in one or multiple clusters, each cluster is a group of similar ideas, the message service component is configured to provide the multiple processed ideas arranged in one or multiple clusters through the network for displaying.
