Abstract

The invention relates to a handheld serial port simulator. A power circuit of the handheld serial port simulator provides 3.5V power for a multi-channel serial communication circuit, 4.2V power for an OLED (organic light emitting diode) display interface circuit, 3.5V power for a key switch interface circuit, 3.5V power for a rotary code switch interface circuit and 3.5V power and reference power for a master control circuit. The master control circuit is in serial communication with to-be-debugged equipment via the multi-channel serial communication circuit, the key switch interface circuit and the rotary code switch interface circuit are used for jointly selecting numbers of a plurality of serial ports and transmitting ASCII (American standard code for information exchange) codes in a simulating manner, and the OLED display interface circuit is responsible for displaying operation. The handheld serial port simulator has the advantages that the multiple serial ports can be efficiently debugged under an offline condition, data acquired by a simulated sensor are transmitted to the tested equipment by a pure hardware system, and accordingly a serial port debugging tool which is simple in operation and is portable and light is provided for engineers.
