Abstract

The invention relates to microwave radiant sources, and discloses a multi-path injection lock magnetron coherent power combination microwave source. A method of power injection is adopted to carry out microwave injection frequency locking and phase modulation on multiple branches of magnetrons. The multi-path injection lock magnetron coherent power combination microwave source comprises N independent signal sources, the N magnetrons, N circulators, N couplers, N frequency mixers, N filters and a control device. The high-stability signal sources are used for generating injection signals of which frequency is close to inherent resonant frequency of the magnetrons, the signals are directly injected to the magnetrons through the circulators, and when the amplitude of the injection signals reaches to a fair magnitude order, oscillation frequency of the magnetrons are synchronous with phases of the injection signals. The multi-path injection lock magnetron coherent power combination microwave source improves frequency and phase stability of output microwaves of the magnetrons, can meet requirements of microwave coherent power combination, and is particularly suitable for being used in the technical field of microwave transmitted energy and industrial application of microwave energy.
