The invention provides a multidimensional modeling system which comprises an interface generating unit, a model selecting unit, an information definition unit and a statement generating unit, wherein the interface generating unit is used for generating a visualization operation interface and displaying computer icons corresponding to selectable service operations and corresponding operation function menu options in the visualization operation interface. The model selecting unit is used for selecting from the visualization operation interface according to selecting operation of a user so as to determine a multidimensional cubic model. The information definition unit is used for defining a line dimensionality and / or a column dimensionality and an index in the multidimensional cubic model in the visualization operation interface, and the statement generating unit is used for generating corresponding inquire statements by utilizing type information of the multidimensional cubic model, the line dimensionality and / or the column dimensionality and the index. The invention further provides a multidimensional modeling method.
