Abstract

The device (1) has position obtaining unit (10) which is formed for determining a position on a traffic road. The device further comprises a position sensor (11) for sensing position information (12) and a control unit (13) for transmitting the position information (14) obtained from position obtaining unit and the position information from the position sensor. A slope calculation unit (15) is provided for receiving the location information from the position sensor and for determining a gradient information (16) on the slope of the road at a particular position.
