Abstract

The present invention provides a group management control device (10) which controls operation of a plurality of elevators, and a target storey registering device (21) which is equipped in an elevator hall for preserving target storeys. Target storey input which is performed in the target storey registering device is accepted (201). The number of waiting persons at the elevator hall is calculated (203). When a fact that the number of waiting persons is larger than a preset number is determined (204), an interchange storey (205) is set. Interchange storey and interchange elevator are displayed on a display part (212) of the target storey registering device for guiding (206,212-2). Furthermore the interchange storey and the interchange elevator are displayed in an elevator cage which goes to the interchange storey for guiding (209), thereby alleviating a crowd state in the conditions such as a condition the passengers take the elevator in a specific time period in a target storey preserving type elevator group management system.
