According to the method, the excellent nursery stock is selected, the root system of the nursery stock is scientifically treated, and a reasonable planting method and thermal insulation measures are adopted, so that the percentage of the nursery stocks, which are planted in autumn and are frozen to death and frost-bitten in winter, of early bearing walnuts is reduced from 10-15% to less than 5%, so that the survival rate of the nursery stocks planted in autumn is greatly improved; and by virtue of reasonably-dug planting pits and density control, the nursery stocks, planted in autumn, of the early bearing walnuts have the advantages of favorable tree vigor, short fruit bearing time and higher fruit bearing percentage, so that the economic benefits of the walnut are greatly improved.
