Abstract

The method for releasing the on-day-age ducks in the rice-duck integrated farming comprises the steps: (a) selecting hatching time of newly-hatched ducklings, wherein 23-25 days after local rice planting time are confirmed as duck egg hatching time, and ducks are existing shelducks or working ducks; (b) selecting duck releasing time, wherein on-day-age ducklings are directly placed into a rice field where rice are planted for 3-5 days after feather dries; and (c) setting environment requirements, wherein the depth of a rice field water layer is 3-5cm, and 12-20 ducks are bred in each mu of rice field. By means of the method, prejudice on a traditional duck breeding theory is broken out, the processes of heat preservation brooding of household ducks in the rice-duck integrated farming and in-advance domesticating in water are omitted, the method is simple and easy to operate, the constitution of the ducklings can be improved obviously, and survival rate of the ducklings can be improved to 95-100%.
