According to the invention, short-tem energy and a statistical theory are combined to design a welding process stability evaluation system of the electric arc sound; two situations of distribution and variation trend of the electric arc sound energy are comprehensively considered, and the welding process stability evaluation index based on the short-term energy is automatically designed.
