The method comprises the following steps that: the teacher computer acquires version numbers of current systems of the student computers and a version number of a downloadable latest system on the network server; the teacher computer judges whether the version numbers of the current systems of the student computers and the version number of the downloadable latest system on the network server are the same or not, if so, the current systems of the student computers do not need to be updated, and the operation is ended; if the version number of the current system of at least one student computer is different from the version number of the downloadable latest system on the network server, student computers with the different version number are determined to need to be subjected to system update; the teacher computer downloads a system package of the latest version from the network server and sends update signals to the student computers needing the system update; and the student computers download the system package of the latest version from the teacher computer and the system package can be installed after the student computers receive the update signals.
