The method comprises the steps of: setting a page object exporting interface of the Webkit kernel; starting the Webkit kernel in a first independent process; calling the page object exporting interface in a second independent process to create a page object based on the Webkit kernel; and calling the Weblkit kernel in the first independent process through the page object, and performing page browsing operation and page content loading based on the Webkit kernel. According to the invention, the problems of lagged Webbrowser kernel version, weak safety and unavailability of supporting a non-Microsoft platform of the browser, as well as the problems of high technical difficulty, difficulty in upgrading, overlarge installation packet and the like caused by directly using the Webkit kernel are well solved.
