Abstract

The invention provides a model ship driven by magnetofluid. The model ship further comprises a ship body and further comprises following devices connected with the ship body: an electric field generating device and a magnetic field generating device, wherein the electric field generating device is used for generating an electric field below the bottom of the ship body; the direction of the electric field is vertical to the vertical direction of the ship body and is parallel to the transverse direction of the ship body; the magnetic field generating device is used for generating a magnetic filed below the bottom of the ship body; and the direction of the magnetic field is vertical to the vertical direction and the transverse direction of the ship body. According to the invention, acting force in an opposite direction can be applied to seawater in a magnetofluid pipeline by adjusting the directions of the electric field and the magnetic field below the bottom of the ship body. Accordingly, as a physics teaching tool, the model ship can be used for explaining how the ship body is driven in two driving manners of flow jetting driving and friction driving, so that students can understand the left-hand rule and the magnetofluid in a vivid manner.
