Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of a broadcast television network, in particular to a topology discovery method, device and system of broadcast television network equipment. The topology discovery method comprises the following steps of: sending an authentication package through broadcast by the first level equipment; receiving the authentication package sent by (N-1)th level equipment connected with the Nth level equipment by Nth level equipment, and judging whether the (N+1)th level equipment connected with the Nth level equipment is provided below the Nth level equipment, wherein N is more than or equal to 2; if so, sending a confirmation package to the (N-1)th level equipment by the Nth level equipment and sending the authentication package which is added with own information through the broadcast; otherwise, adding own relative information into the authentication package by the Nth level equipment, changing the information type of the authentication package into a feedback package, and sending the feedback package to the primary equipment directly; and analyzing by the first level equipment according to the received feedback package and generating a topological relation list of all the equipment. By adopting the invention, the network equipment topology relation list is accurately and timely generated, so that a plurality of different types of the equipment can be combined well; and the uniform management and control is realized.
