Problems solved by technology

If such an application adopts a common unified resource allocation method, the operation of the cloud application on the cache must go through multiple links such as the virtual machine running on the cloud application and the operating system running on the virtual machine to realize the operation of the actual cache. This undoubtedly increases the operation access link, delays the operation speed, and reduces the performance of the application.

Embodiment

[0024] The cloud storage application steps are as follows:

[0025] 1) The division of non-transparent CACHE is completed by the system BIOS;

[0026] 2) The cloud OS starts and runs the non-transparent resource allocator;

[0027] 3) The cloud OS allocates the required public resources to the cloud storage virtual machine according to the resources customized by the user, and is used to start the cloud storage virtual machine;

[0028] 4) Start the cloud storage application after the cloud storage virtual machine starts, and the cloud storage application applies for non-transparent CACHE resources through the cloud storage virtual machine through a specific resource application mechanism;

[0029] 5) After obtaining the non-transparent CACHE resource, the cloud storage application uses it as a high-speed storage CACHE for data storage application;

[0030] 6) Use the shortest access path: apply to CACHE or CACHE to application to access data;

[0031] 7) After use, the clo...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for improving the cloud application property via non-transparent CACHE. The method is that the physical internal memory is divided into a system internal memory and a non-transparent CACHE when a cloud computing server is started, wherein the system internal memory is distributed to each virtual machine by a public resource distributor in a cloud OS; and the non-transparent CACHE is distributed to the cloud application for use in the virtual machines by a non-transparent CACHE resource distributor. By adopting the method provided by the invention, the internal memory is preserved as the CACHE resource of the cloud application when a BIOS is started, the cloud application can direct access the resource without via an operating system of a cloud computing server, so that the access paths is reduced, and the property of the cloud application is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the computer field, in particular to a method for improving cloud application performance through non-transparent CACHE. Background technique [0002] At present, a unified resource allocation method is generally adopted in the resource allocation of the cloud computing system, and no special resource allocation method is adopted for some special applications. For example, storage applications need to use high-speed CACHE to accelerate storage performance. Contents of the invention ...
